Norwich Telops FCU was first chartered in February 1968. Over the years our membership has grown to 1726 members and is still growing.

Like all credit unions, ours is mutually owned by its members, a group of people united by a common bond, who save their money together and make loans to each other from the accumulated funds. Our objective is not to make a profit, but to help our members manage their money by saving for the future and making intelligent use of available credit.

Presently we serve Verizon employees in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Georgia and Frontier, a Citizens Communication Company employees in West Virginia and New York. In addition, we include in our charter employees of several small businesses located here in Norwich. Family members of current account members are also welcome to join our credit union.
